RFID Antenna Development Expertise

About Us

Over 20 Years of RFID Antenna Design Excellence

Innovoi is a provider of innovative RAIN and NFC RFID antenna research and development services to the Internet of Things world. If the standard RFID product on the market doesn’t meet your requirements, Innovoi can help you to find a solution. The product design we provide includes everything from the product requirement specification to the functional prototype tags. Additional services are offered with partners.

Innovoi is also a provider of high-quality measurement antennas.

Our Services

Product Design

If you cannot find a suitable RFID tag solution from the existing market or you need to expand the products you offer, Innovoi can design a new product for you. Sometimes only optimizing the existing product is sufficient. Innovoi can design encapsulated hard tags or labels with sensor capabilities or some other functionalities.

Technical Consultancy

Innovoi can provide technical consultancy for a selection of RFID readers, reader antennas, tags, and partners. The location, orientation, and model of reader antennas and tags have a significant impact on RFID system performance. In many applications, the ideal reader and tag setup cannot be used, and the theoretical maximum performance is reduced.

Our Technologies

RAIN RFID

RAIN RFID is a global alliance promoting the universal adoption of UHF RFID technology. RAIN uses the GS1 UHF Gen2 protocol which ISO/IEC has standardized as 18000-63. The word RAIN is an acronym derived from RAdio frequency IdentificatioN. RAIN RFID antennas usually operate at the 865 MHz – 928 MHz frequency band.

NFC

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a standards-based short-range wireless connectivity technology which makes life easier and more convenient for consumers around the world by simplifying making transactions, exchanging digital content, and connecting electronic devices with a touch. NFC uses the frequency of 13.56 MHz in the globally available unlicensed radio frequency ISM band.

Dual Frequency

Dual Frequency technology combines the best parts of the RAIN RFID and NFC. While the consumer can have access to the memory content via an NFC-enabled smart phone, RAIN RFID can be used for supply chain management. Memory can be shared with both technologies.
